To avoid the downfalls associated with recruitment challenges, Sharp HealthCare partnered with VigiLanz to streamline and accelerate recruitment for a trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a new drug to treat acute myocardial infarction (AMI). By continuously reviewing near real-time data within Sharp’s EHR system, VigiLanz enabled Sharp to reduce the time needed to screen patients, enroll more patients, and increase staff satisfaction.
